Coming Soon: Gruene Music and Wine Fest

The 28th Annual Gruene Music and Wine Fest is just around the corner on October 9th – 12th and is brought to you by Gruene Hall, 92.1 FM Radio New Braunfels, and other sponsors including the Hospitality and Visitor’s Association (HAVA). It is comprised of 4 distinct events over 4 days and is a favorite festival among New Braunfels locals and visitors alike!

The festival kicks off on Thursday October 9th with a “Not From Texas” experience. There will be wine tasting from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at The Grapevine garden featuring 30 German and New World Wines; and live music from Acoustic Jungle! There will also be “Not From Texas” door prizes featuring wine and vacation packages to Savanna, Orlando, and Kansas City. This event will be emceed by Tiffany Gruene Music and Wine FestMayne from 92.1 Radio New Braunfels and then you won’t want to miss Uncle Lucius performing at Gruene Hall at 8pm.

The festival continues on Friday October 10th with “Rockin’ Texas Wine and Food” from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at Gruene Hall. There will be a private show and meet/greet with Robert Earl Keen, catered dinner by Gristmill River Restaurant, silent auction, wine tastings, and of course the Great Guitar Action! Finally, top off the night with Robert Earl Keen in concert at Gruene Hall at 9 pm.

On Saturday October 11th there will be “Texas Tasting and Tunes” with live music from 12 pm – 5 pm on two stages: The Grapevine garden and Gruene Hall. There will be 30+ Texas wineries featured, local food tastings, food trucks on site and craft vendors. Also, don’t miss Cory Morrow at 9 pm in Gruene Hall!

Sunday October 12th will be a “Texas-Style Musicfest” starting with a Gospel Brunch at Gruene Hall from 10:30 am – 12 pm catered by The Gristmill River Restaurant. Then from 1 pm – 6 pm the “Brew-N-Que” will take place at the Grapevine garden featuring live music, beer and wine tastings, barbecue, food trucks, and a handmade gift market. Finally, join us at Gruene Hall from 1 pm – 10 pm for 8 hours straight of live Texas music including Jason Boland, Midnight River Choir, Seth James Band, and more!
