We all know there are many reasons to visit New Braunfels in the Summer, but you will not be disappointed if you stick around for the fall festivities!
The Comal County Fair is September 23rd – 27th. Activities include live music, a BBQ cook off, rodeo, carnival and more! The Comal County Fair Parade is an amazing site to see as the entire county comes together in downtown New Braunfels at 10 am on Friday, September 25th. This year, support the Comal County Fair Scholarship Fund by joining local merchants for a FREE breakfast in the Farmer’s Market lot (with a cash donation). It’s all for a great cause and you can snag the best spots to watch the parade floats go by!
The 29th Annual Gruene Wine and Music Festival is October 8th-11th. Four exciting days with four distinct events! A wonderful collaboration of tasting wine with live music from local musicians. Thursday evening enjoy the Marshall Tucker Band at the Grapevine garden, rock out on Friday with Pat Green at the Gruene Hall, then spend Saturday with Aaron Neville and Sunday features all the wine plus specialty beer tastings!
Finally, November holds something very special for NB. Join us for our annual 10 day salute to sausage! Wurstfest arrives November 6th-15th. Nights filled with live music, amazing food, and of course – beers all around! From sauerkraut to the infamous Wurst-ka-bobs, bring out your inner German and help celebrate New Braunfels’ heritage.
Summer may be coming to an end, but the fun doesn’t have to end in New Braunfels. If you’re planning to attend these fun Fall events and need accommodations check out Hill Country Cottage and RV Resort located at 131 Rueckle Road!
